The Baltics are comprised of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, all located on the east side of the Baltic sea. Formerly part of the USSR, the Baltics regained independence after the dissolution of the former USSR. With a total area of 175,015 km², the region is home to approx. 6,2 million inhabitants.
While sharing borders, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania couldn’t be more different! Each country has its own history, traditions and landscapes. And the fact that those three countries are easily combinable makes a definite plus - perfect way to discover three completely different countries in one trip!
